飯塚 淳 / Jun IIZUKA
Film Director
1988年生まれ。埼玉県出身。京都大学総合人間学部卒業。
2012年よりNHKエデュケーショナルでディレクターとして、こども幼児向け番組やアート・デザイン・特集番組を企画制作。ETV特集、日曜美術館、BS1スペシャル、8K生中継など多数の番組制作を担当。
世界的なアーティストから市井の人々まで、ヒューマンドキュメンタリーを多く手がける。
2023年1月に独立。同年10月に株式会社FLO FILMを設立。放送番組のほか、企業のコンセプト映像やプロモーション映像など東京を拠点に各地で映像制作を行う。
企画、取材、撮影、編集までワンストップで行う制作から各分野のプロフェッショナルと連携するチーム制作まで、目指す映像に合わせ様々な手法や表現を取り入れている。
世界各地への旅や長年の登山の経験から、厳しい自然環境下での映像制作も得意とする。
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1988, Jun Iizuka graduated from Kyoto University’s Faculty of Integrated Human Studies.
In 2012, he began working as a director at NHK Educational, developing and producing children’s programs, including shows for preschoolers, as well as programs on art and design and other special productions. His credits include ETV Special, Sunday Museum of Art, BS1 Special, and live 8K broadcasts. Much of his documentary work explores people’s lives and experiences, from internationally renowned artists to people in everyday communities.
He began working independently in January 2023 and founded FLO FILM Inc. that October. Based in Tokyo, he works on location across Japan and beyond, creating television programs, corporate concept films, and promotional videos.
His approach ranges from handling every stage of production himself—from initial concept and research to filming and editing—to collaborating with specialists across disciplines. He draws on a variety of techniques and forms of expression to suit each project.
Extensive travel and years of mountaineering have also given him the experience to film in challenging natural environments.

I grew up on the outskirts of Saitama City, where woodlands mingled with residential neighborhoods. From an early age, I was fascinated by wildlife and the natural world.
Age 6
I became fascinated by the Jomon pottery being unearthed in front of my home.
Age 10
After spotting prey left impaled by a shrike where I used to play, I took my first photograph with an SLR camera.
Age 14
Inspired by films, I traveled alone to Shikinejima with a sleeping bag and spent my first night sleeping outdoors.
Age 17
I traveled solo to Cambodia.
Age 19
After studying to retake the university entrance exams, I moved to Kyoto. Cycling and mountain hiking became part of the way I traveled.
Age 20
I became interested in the connections between places and people’s memories, and in how landscapes shape our sense of identity and hold meaning for the communities who live in them.
Age 21
I spent six months traveling through more than 30 countries across Asia, the Middle East, the Balkans, and North, Central, and South America, taking photographs and hiking along the way.
Age 22
I took overnight buses from Kyoto to Tokyo on weekends to attend design school.
Age 23
I joined a television production company.
Age 25
I immersed myself in documentary filmmaking and began exploring the expressive possibilities of film.
Age 34
I left the company to work independently.
